What Makes The Goalden System Different?

As we all know, life happens. In our day-to-day routine, we often lose sight of our goals. It can sometimes feel impossible to budget time, money, and energy for our own needs. As women who have experienced this feeling firsthand, we understand the struggles of creating and achieving goals in our seemingly non-stop world. We know you have many choices on who to work with, so we vow to give each partner the individual attention and focus they deserve.

What makes The Goalden System different? We center our work around:

Empowerment

As a team, our number one value is to ensure that each of our partners feels empowered to make a change. We value listening to you and your experiences and utilizing a “there is no one size fits all” mentality to help you reach your goals. Our time together will include reflection and learning new strategies while leaving judgment and criticism at the door. The best way to grow is through an open mind.

Collaboration

The Goalden System is unlike traditional life coaching because our system relies on a collaborative experience that requires your participation in tracking and evaluating progress. This is not a rigorous program that includes being talked “at” during the meeting. Our program is guided by YOU! Your goals are at the forefront of every step, so we require all partners to be open to collaborating and taking an active role within the program. We have found that this employs the best chance of reaching the desired outcome.

Accountability

Think back to a time when you shared a plan with a close friend or family member. Chances are you did this because you were hoping to gain some accountability. It’s the same reason why our team members share things such as, “I will be working out at 10am,” because they know the other members will push them toward that task. If no one knows your goal or mission, then it becomes far to easy to rationalize pushing the task aside and saving it for later. Our brains can be tricky like that, which is why we know the value of accountability within goal setting.

In addition to the 1:1 mentoring, we offer free community-based motivation through accountability support and group learning experiences. Humans are inherently social creatures (Seligman, 2012). The social environment has been found to play a critical role in improving cognitive abilities. Strong social networks contribute to better physical health among adults (Siedlecki, Salthouse, Oishi, & Jeswani, 2014). Our accountability structure will help provide you with an opportunity to apply habit-building skills and continue utilizing the momentum gained from your 1:1 meeting.

Inclusiveness

The Goalden System is committed to helping everyone learn the skills to reach their goals. This includes people who identify as neurodivergent. Our team has a wide range of skills and experience to help partners achieve their goals. Just as goals are unique, so are each of our partners - we wouldn’t want it any other way!

You belong here.

Reflection

Each meeting will include intentional time to reflect on the events between sessions. This is a crucial step to ensure we gain the “why” behind wins and struggles. Your mentor will utilize guiding questions to help you determine the next steps and create a reasonable plan to accomplish those steps. We know this is an essential process to your success and have witnessed the power of having support outside meeting times.

During your partnership, you will have access to the Goalden Guide. This is an exciting tool to help you monitor milestones while you are in the pursuit of your goals. We will use this as a place for you to evaluate your progress and communicate with your mentor. The Goalden Guide provides a space for collaboration, communication, and accountability. We seek your input and are open to making the guide work for YOU!

Communication

Open communication is vital to a successful business partnership. At the Goalden System, our team of mentors prioritizes feedback and growth. We want your experience to be a true partnership. Your mentor will contact you at various stages throughout the week and provide feedback on your personalized Goalden Guide. As an added accountability, you will make a plan for how your mentor can help support you through brief Quick Connects between meetings.

As with any partnership, we want to know if something is not working! Our support team is open and willing to work with you to improve your experience or answer questions.

Commitment

The Goalden System partnership is a commitment. We commit our time and energy to provide you the best service to meet your needs. In return, we ask that you commit to our process and are open to trying new things. Taking steps to change your life, even in small increments, can feel uncomfortable or just be hard. Locke and Lanthan’s study (2002) found that if a person is committed to a goal, despite being a challenging goal, they are more likely to succeed.

We are here to support you without judgment and always with encouragement. Some of the best lessons are learned when facing an obstacle. Our mentors will be sure to help you find the tools and strategies to navigate the journey. However, it will take your effort, willingness, and trust to make a difference. At The Goalden System, we recognize that we don’t all have the same goals, and that’s why we tailor each meeting to your specific goals. We are committed to YOU.
